Gov. Ducey signs bill that bars HOAs from prohibiting artificial turf on lawns
Gov. Doug Ducey signed a bill into law that prevents homeowner associations from adopting rules that block the use of artificial turf.
The measure received bipartisan support in the Legislature and from water conservation groups.
Rep. John Kavanagh introduced the measure, saying restrictions were unfounded, especially as artificial turf reduces water consumption as the state continues to face its drought.
