Nonprofit urges cities, towns to use federal infrastructure funds creatively

Cities and towns across the country and around the world have had to adapt to a lot of changes over the past couple of years.

The pandemic has made lots of people rethink how and where we live and work, and the kinds of services we want from those places. And the federal infrastructure bill passed in D.C. last year adds another layer to that.

Chuck Marohn is president of the nonprofit Strong Towns. He describes it as a group working to change the way America builds its cities, towns and neighborhoods.

The Show spoke with him to learn about some of these changes, and what they mean for cities and towns is.
