Sen. Kyrsten Sinema says she votes same way she's been campaigning for 10 years
In an interview with CNN on Thursday, Arizona’s senior Sen. Kyrsten Sinema talked about the Biden administration's Build Back Better Act, which passed in the U.S. House this week.
During the interview she would not commit to voting for the plan when it gets to the Senate, saying she doesn’t tell the press what her plans are.
The Democrat said she’s prepared to vote, but doesn’t support legislation that burdens businesses.
“I want to make sure that if we are crafting legislation we are doing it in a lean and efficient way that is fiscally responsible, and doesn’t impact things like inflation or make our businesses less competitive," Sinema said.
When asked about frustration from progressives in her party, Sinema said she is voting in the same way she has been campaigning for the last 10 years.
