AAA: Gas prices not expected to spike for Thanksgiving
High food prices have been a burden for many preparing for Thanksgiving. For those who plan on traveling, high gas prices are a concern. AAA spokesperson Aldo Vazquez explained what to expect at the pump.
“Over the next week, we don’t anticipate any major spikes in prices and any kind of increases that we’ve been seeing for the most part have slowed down. But these elevated prices for what you’re paying at the pump right now are likely to remain and stick around for quite some time," Vazquez said.
Vasquez said as long as the price of crude oil remains above $75 per barrel, gas prices will continue being high.
