Live entertainment is coming back to the Valley. And venues are taking the steps necessary to continue performances safely.

The list of big-name acts range from country and rock 'n' roll to Broadway productions. In September, ASU Gammage is having its first show since March 2020, opening with Broadway’s "Hamilton." The theater is following all CDC guidelines, requiring masks and will be open at 100% capacity.  Kari Amarosso is with ASU Gammage.

“The health and safety of our guests, staff, artists and community are our top priority. You know we’re following all CDC, state and reopening safety protocols," Amarosso said.

On Friday night, the Ak-Chin Pavilion in west Phoenix will hold its first concert since the pandemic began, with country singer Dierks Bentley. The concert did not require masks or proof of vaccination.

But in October all Live Nation venues including the Ak-Chin Pavilion will require attendees to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the show.
