President Biden on Friday blamed social media for “killing people,” saying those entities need to do more to remove disinformation about coronavirus vaccines from their platforms and that the “only pandemic we have is among the unvaccinated.”

That rebuke carries over to more traditional media like Fox News.  

Kristin Urquiza alleges the conservative cable TV outlet was complicit in her father’s death last year. “Fox News may not have pulled the trigger on my father’s death, but they definitely drove the getaway car and are complicit in undermining our public health response,” she said on CNN.

Urquiza also referenced “Marked By Covid”— the grassroots group she started to share stories about those impacted by COVID-19 and said more Latinos need to get vaccinated, but many fear they will be fired if they take time off to do so.
