Tens Of Thousands Of Doses Arrive In Sonora For Those 50 To 59, Or Pregnant
Tens of thousands of doses have arrived in Sonora for the next phase of vaccination.
They’ll be going to those who are either 50- to 59-years-old or pregnant. More than 60,000 doses of Pfizer’s vaccine arrived Thursday and were set to go to residents of the state capital, according to tweets from state Health Secretary Enrique Clausen.
Then on Friday another 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca’s vaccine were flown in for 45 other municipalities across the vast, sparsely populated state, Clausen said.
More than 20,000 have already been administered for the age group, state authorities said earlier last week.
