Arizona voted for a Democratic presidential nominee for the first time since 1996. And the election of Mark Kelly gives the state two Democratic U.S. senators for the first time in seven decades. But Republicans still control both legislative bodies, and the redistricting battle is in its early stages.
It’s into this competitive environment that state Rep. Raquel Teran steps as she succeeds Felecia Rotellini as chair of the Arizona Democratic Party.
Teran was selected by the party faithful over the weekend, and The Show spoke with her about what’s next.
