Starting after Sunday’s games, the NFL is ordering all teams to suspend in-person activities for the next few days in case any players may have been unknowingly exposed to the coronavirus during the Thanksgiving holiday.

With the exception of the four teams playing Monday and Tuesday games, all nonessential in-person activities for other teams those days is suspended.

The memo says that many players and staff hosted out-of-state guests for Thanksgiving, and the league wanted to test any players who hosted visitors before returning to normal operations.

All team activities will be conducted virtually, with the exception of medical treatment and rehab.

So far this season, more than 200 NFL players, coaches, and personnel have been infected with the virus, including veteran Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald.
