After months of signature gathering and weeks of nail-biting over legal challenges and appeals, we now know which citizen initiatives Arizonans will see on the November ballot.

The Smart and Safe Arizona Act to legalize recreational marijuana and the Invest in Education Act to raise taxes on the wealthiest Arizonans to raise money for public education have qualified. They will appear on the ballot as Proposition 207 and Proposition 208 respectively.

But health care and criminal justice reform proposals were not so lucky.

The Show spoke with Howard Fischer of Capitol Media Services for an update on the initiatives.
