Arizona entered the second weekend of its coronavirus testing blitz Saturday, part of the state's effort to test 60,000 people in a three-weekend period.

Coconino County collected 417 samples, and more than 300 last week, as spokesperson Claire Harper explains.

"We did have walk-up (testing), we had people on bicycles coming from the neighborhood, as well as drive-through specimen collections as well," Harper said. "Everything was great and really would like to thank our partners that were able to help us — the National Guard, along with the Coconino County team and the City of Flagstaff."

The testing blitz continues May 16. Arizonans who want to get tested for COVID-19 can go to one of 40 locations statewide to receive a test.

Some locations are free, while others accept insurance or charge a fee for testing services.

Hours and requirements vary depending on location. A list of sites can be found at azdhs.gov.
