Video games can improve dexterity, hand-eye coordination and, if you’re old school, your ability to know when to jump over a barrel rolled toward you by a giant gorilla.

But that’s not the kind of thing the developers at Arizona State University’s Center for Games and Impact are focused on. Their goals are a lot broader.

We talked with the center’s director, ASU Professor Sasha Barab.
