The Show regularly checks in with the Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in the newspaper’s Viewpoints section.

For several election cycles, analysts have been looking at the impact of Latino voter turnout in Arizona and what impact that can have in turning the outcomes of certain races. A guest column in Sunday’s edition of The Republic — written by Sonja Diaz of UCLA — points out that it’s not only voters, but Latino elected officials who are becoming an increasing force in Arizona.

Editorial page director Phil Boas spoke with The Show about it in his weekly appearance.
