The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is making a big statement in the new year. It’s unveiling its first yearlong collection show, and it will feature all women artists.

It’s called "Unapologetic: All Women, All Year," and it opens Feb. 15.

It all started with a recent study from Williams College that shows the vast majority — 87% — of major museum collections across the country feature male artists.

The Show sat down with Jennifer McCabe, director and chief curator of SMoCA, to talk more about it.
