Congress Raises National Smoking Age To 21
Congress has approved raising the smoking age to 21. The measure is included in a broader spending package heading to President Donald Trump’s desk.
Trump tweeted that he would sign the bill Friday. It’s being hailed as a significant step as teen vaping rates soar, but is it enough?
I will be signing our 738 Billion Dollar Defense Spending Bill today. It will include 12 weeks Paid Parental Leave, gives our troops a raise, importantly creates the SPACE FORCE, SOUTHERN BORDER WALL FUNDING, repeals “Cadillac Tax” on Health Plans, raises smoking age to 21! Erika Sward, the American Lung Association’s national assistant vice president of advocacy, joined The Show to talk about it.
