Last week, Phoenix voters defeated a ballot measure that would have stopped the expansion of light rail in the city.

That means the city can push forward on three light rail extensions stretching into south Phoenix, to the state Capitol and to Metrocenter Mall.

So, what can the city expect for these projects? To learn more about the future of light rail, The Show spoke with Valley Metro CEO Scott Smith.
