KJZZ June Pledge Drive Giveaways and Contests

KJZZ announces the June pledge drive giveaways and contests - throughout the June one day pledge drive KJZZ will hold giveaways and contest opportunities during specific hours of the drive. Anyone can enter to win the prize(s) during the specific time of each giveaway or contest by calling in or going online. All entries are time stamped at the beginning of the phone call or online entry.

Rules

KJZZ's June Pledge Drive Giveaways and Contests begins Thursday, June 17th at 7 am and continues throughout the day, ending at 8:00 pm. Giveaways and contests open at the top of the hour when they are announced and are closed at the end of the hour. KJZZ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries for each specific contest. The drawings will be conducted either during the pledge drive and announced on-air or will be drawn following the conclusion of the pledge drive on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010. The winners of all giveaways and contests will be announced on air and posted online at KJZZ.org. KJZZ will also notify the winners by phone and e-mail.

The winner must contact the KJZZ development department (480) 834-5627 to make arrangements to secure the prize(s). There is no purchase or donation necessary. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter

Anyone 18 years and older can participate when the giveaway or contest is announced and opened. Only one entry per person per giveaway or contest. Individuals may enter using one of the following methods:

All entries must include your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, and all other requested information.

Eligibility and Restrictions

Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older.
KJZZ employees and their families are not eligible to enter any KJZZ contest.
Limit one entry per person.

Selection of Winner

KJZZ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries for each specific contest. Some drawings will be conducted during the pledge drive and winners will be announced on-air. Others will be drawn following the conclusion of the pledge drive on Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010. The winners of all giveaways and contests will be announced on air and posted online at KJZZ.org. KJZZ will also notify the winners by phone and e-mail.

All decisions made by station management with regard to the prize, the selection of prizewinners, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Each entrant, by virtue of entering the contest, agrees to accept the decision of the station as final. Prizewinner need not listen or be present to win. KJZZ will notify prizewinner by phone, mail and email. KJZZ is not responsible for any mechanical telephone error, failure or omission; lost or misdirected mail, faxes or e-mail; neglect on the part of the US Postal Service; or e-mail service disruption.

KJZZ reserves the right, at any time to award the prize to another eligible prizewinner, drawn at random, if the original prizewinner cannot make use of the prize or in the event that the original prizewinner does not meet eligibility requirements. If a prizewinner fails to accept the prize for any reason, KJZZ will not award a make-good prize. KJZZ will not provide replacements for a forfeited prize.

Conditions

Prizewinner accepts responsibility for all taxes, tips and other liabilities. The IRS requires that KJZZ report all prizes valued at $600 or more as additional income on form 1099. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless KJZZ including all officers, directors, employees, volunteers and sponsors from all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in KJZZ's June Pledge Drive Giveaways and Contest promotion. KJZZ, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or the operation of the KJZZ website as well as any person in violation of the rules.

Right to Make Changes

KJZZ is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.
