Intern

Matt Kling joined the KJZZ News Team in January 2018 as an intern.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Kling came out to Arizona in 2015 to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at ASU, where he is a currently a junior.

Kling also works as a studio producer for Cronkite News on Arizona PBS, based out of the Cronkite School. He has been involved at Blaze Radio at ASU since his freshman year, serving as a host and producer for news and sports shows. He previously interned for KTAR News and at The CW 6 here in Phoenix, writing scripts for news updates.

Outside of journalism, Kling is a passionate fan of his hometown Eagles and Phillies, but he also roots for the Sun Devils and the Diamondbacks. He is also a huge fan of "This Is Us" and often is listening to radio shows or music. His drink of choice: Mountain Dew.
