Monica Sampson is a Phoenix-based journalist, entertainer and storyteller who is pursuing a double major in broadcast journalism and theater with a pre-law minor at ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Sampson understands the power media has to educate, inspire and inform. She has appeared extensively on television and radio discussing feminism, politics and empowerment. Sampson is the assistant news director for KASC Blaze Radio and the co-host of the radio show “Mo-Jo In The Morning.” Recently, Sampson was the recipient of the Joan Frazer Memorial Award for Judaism and the Arts for a documentary exploring the life of the Jewish Millennial. The film will debut in August 2017.
