Bridget Dowd

Reporter

Bridget Dowd is a former KJZZ news intern who started working as a reporter in December 2017. She graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in May 2018. Dowd fell in love with radio during her freshman year when she joined Blaze Radio, ASU’s student-run radio station. She served as station manager and news director of Blaze Radio. She also spent time interning for “Dateline” and “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly” on NBC at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Dowd grew up in the Pacific Northwest but came to Arizona for college. She has special interests in disability journalism and crime reporting.

In her spare time, she’s likely to be surrounded by cats or indulging in her true-crime obsession.
