Kendra Worsnup photoKendra Szabo joined the KJZZ news team in January 2013 to serve as a part-time Morning Edition producer. 

Fueled by an intense passion for telling accurate and compelling stories through language and design, Szabo is currently pursuing a journalism degree at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.  She is also studying for a bachelor of arts in justice studies at ASU’s School of Social Transformation—with a focus on advocacy for victims of human trafficking and extreme poverty. 

Szabo also devotes her time to helping students who are trying to learn English.

In her free time, she can usually be found creating art, refining her woodworking skills, beekeeping or listening to old episodes of This American Life.
