Kendra Szabo joined the KJZZ news team in January 2013 to serve as a Morning Edition producer.  

Szabo is passionate about using language and sound to tell accurate and compelling stories. She graduated from Arizona State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, and a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies.

In her free time, she can usually be found refining her woodworking skills, beekeeping, baking or listening to old episodes of This American Life.
