Three years after the earthquake and tsunami in Fukushima, Japan destroyed a nuclear power plant, the effects are still being measured.
Andrew Romanov is a junior at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He expects to earn both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism in 2015. Previously, Romanov worked at PBS Channel 8, The Blaze Radio, and DowntownDevil.com.
Romanov joined the media communications department at Arcadia High School and became enthralled with news and broadcasting. During high school, he anchored or hosted three television shows that aired on Scottsdale CityCable11.
Romanov also studies political science and linguistics, and travels whenever he can. In the summer of 2013, Romanov studied at Moscow University for the Humanities in Russia.
In his free time, he likes trying new restaurants and cheering on the Sun Devils.
