Before joining KJZZ, Casey covered several Arizona wildfires, Super Bowl XLIX, and the Valley's connection to the attack on the "Draw the Prophet Mohammed" contest in Garland, Texas as a public safety reporter for The Arizona Republic.
He is a University of Arizona alumnus and has also worked for La Voz, CNN.com, WSB-TV in Atlanta and The Laramie Boomerang.
In 2006, Casey reported on Mexico's presidential election from Mexico City for Inside Tucson Business.
When he isn't chasing stories, Casey enjoys playing pick-up basketball, attending UA football games and exploring Cochise County.
