9 O'clock Jazz New Release Special

It's Thursday and time for the latest jazz releases. Flutist Dave Valentine has a new CD with Bill O'Connell that combines the best of Latin jazz and bebop, and pianist Hilario Duran is with saxaphonist, flutist Jane Bunnett on their latest.

There will be a definite Latin flavor to some of the new releases tonight but there is also some bluesy guitar on Houston vocalist Tianna Hall's CD, You might just drift off into a dust storm with talented contemporary trumpeter Cindy Bradley. Hear some great new jazz releases tonight on the 9 O'clock special with Blaise Lantana.
