September 26, 2011 Dear KJZZ Listeners, In an effort to help meet KJZZ listener preferences, to help offset budgetary shortfalls and accommodate on-air staffing changes, KJZZ is launching a few program schedule changes beginning Oct. 1, 2011. The changes are as follows: Saturdays 9-11 p.m. BBC World Service will replace Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz and Riverwalk. BBC World Service will now run from Sat., 9 p.m. – Sun., 6 a.m.
Sundays 1 p.m. Fresh Air Weekend will replace On the Media (last show 9/25/11)
11 p.m. BBC World Service will replace the last hour of Classic Jazz. BBC World Service will now run from Sun., 11 p.m. – Mon., 3 a.m. Mondays - Fridays 11 p.m. Classic Jazz with Michele Robins temporarily replaces Classic Jazz with Paul Anderson.
