Body may be that of missing ASU student

Tempe police say a body discovered in Town Lake on Sunday has a "strong possibility" of being that of a missing ASU student. Sgt. Mike Pooley says the body has not yet been identified but there's a good chance it's that of 19-year-old Jack Culolias.

"The water levels have gone up dramatically and we believe what happened is if indeed this is Jack, the water levels were able to loosen the body, and at which time now it's surfaced," Pooley said.

Officers say the victim was wearing a single red shoe. Culolias was last seen Nov. 30 after being kicked out of a bar at Tempe Marketplace, near where the body was found on Sunday.
