Republican legislative nominee Darin Mitchell's name will appear on the November general election ballot after all. From Phoenix, KJZZ's Steve Goldstein has more.
An Arizona Court of Appeals panel acted to block a trial judge's order that Mitchell's name be removed from the general election ballot.

The order overruled Judge Robert Oberbillig's decision that Mitchell doesn't live in the southwestern Arizona district where he's running for one of two state house seats.

Mitchell ran for a seat in GOP-leaning legislative District 13. He finished second, defeating incumbent representative and fellow Republican Russ Jones, but Jones filed a challenge, saying Mitchell actually lived in the Democratic-friendly 18th district.

The appeals court panel turned away that challenge, and the state Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by Jones.
