Holly Hegeman, CEO and publisher of planebusiness.com, speculates about the rumored merger between US Airways and American Airlines, and the bigger picture developing in the industry.

Hegeman says that even with US Airways making preparations for a merger, like registering domain names, it isn’t a done deal. She believes by the end of the year at least two major airlines will merge, but no one is sure of who or how.
