Information about Arizona's presidential preference election

The 2012 Presidential Preference Election will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.; the first results are expected to be released about 8 p.m.

Only voters registered in the Republican Party and Green Party are eligible to participate. Proper identification is required at the polling site on Election Day.

Early ballots must be received by the office of the County Recorder or turned into a valid polling place by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

A list of polling locations and ID requirements can be found at www.recorder.maricopa.gov or by calling the STAR Call Center at 602-506-1511.

Election results will be published online by the Arizona Secretary of State.

KJZZ will broadcast a special election results update at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
