We're listening in our AZ/American government class this morning from our classroom in Peoria...
how do you think the state of AZ can "handle" this "problem" of illegal immigration without the federal monies that shoud be allocated for this NATIONAL issue? what more can Gov Napolitano, and the Governors of CA,NM, and Texas do to make the Federal Government "own up" to this as not a state border/homeland security issue, but a FEDERAL SECURITY PROBLEM?
What, if anything, is ICE going to do about illegal immigrants soliciting for work on the city streets and on business properties?
Thanks!
I work for an agency of the State that only began serious background checks in the last 18 months. Prior to those checks any identification was accepted by Human Resources to the point where one young woman was hired using the documents of a US citizen...who just happened to work for the agency in a different department. There are other illegals currently working for the state at this very moment. If the state can't assure all of its workers are legal, how can enforcement of other employers be possible?
What are the policies Border Patrol agents use for chases?
Rachel Hdz said those have increased? has the BP changed the way they handled them?
