Here and Now - Sen. Jon Kyl, KJZZ Border Series

Let us know what you'd like to ask Senator Jon Kyl.

And please give us feedback on the new series of reports on the U.S.-Mexico border that will air over the next couple months on KJZZ.

I am very disappointed that you're having Senator Kyl talk about Health Care Reform without anyone to question his stance as a Republican who seems to only represent the Republican Party and does not respond to the his constitutents who support the President's goals and want AZ to be part of the solution, not just politics as usual.

These questions come from reading the Obama Agenda Survey I received from the Republican Party. Is it really true that the Democrats are pushing thru Congress a bill that would expand welfare benefits and unlimited eligibility with not time, education or work requirements?
And what is the status of the Democrat's proposal to reinstate the military draft?

Good job on the audio! We don't want to hear from this lying wingnut.

Kudos to the engineers who are bleeping him! You need to have someone to counterbalance his extremist positions.

Re: Here and Now - Sen. Jon Kyl, KJZZ Border Series

How can we take Sen. Kyl's comments on national security seriously when they are so obviously biased against President Obama. President Bush took six days before he commented on the incident involving Richard Reid, the so-called shoe bomber. Again and again, the Republicans have held Obama to a higher standard than Bush. Why didn't Kyl speak out when Bush took so much time to respond to a similar incident?

Re: Here and Now - Sen. Jon Kyl, KJZZ Border Series

I would like Senator Kyl to discuss the reason why he would be so blind to women's rights as to state that since he doesn't need maternity or pre-natal coverage, then it shoudn't be included in the Health Care Reform bill. Can we not agree that it is in our society's best interest to have healthy children? I realize that this is old news, but when I emailed him about it, he simply responded with a form letter about how tort reform will solve everything.

Re: Here and Now - Sen. Jon Kyl, KJZZ Border Series

On health care reform: Why should there be profit in health insurance care? Why should a company which answers to boards with high salaries or stock holders who require gains be the ones that make decisions on whether or not someone should get surgery/treatment?

Re: Here and Now - Sen. Jon Kyl, KJZZ Border Series

Please ask Senator Kyle about his support of the blockade on the Gaza Strip - particularly the refusal of the State of Israel to allow such items as jam, biscuits and tomato paste and more recently school supplies for the children (such as paper) - please explain why these items are found threatening by the State of Israel and more specifically, why does he support this.
Thank you.
