Arizona Capitol Policy and Politics
Some political analysts have described this as legislative session as one of the most difficult ever because lawmakers have had to deal not with just one budget shortfall, but two. Oh, then there's the 1200 or so bills put in the hopper. GOP political analyst and former lawmaker Stan Barns and Democratic analyst Barry Dill discuss the policy and politics of the second regular session of the 48th legislature. I was hoping to see a woman as one of the political experts. As I sent several extremely qualified names to you, it is suprising that KJZZ did not find at least one.
As a loyal supporter of KJZZ, I want management to know that I'm very tired of hearing from the same male commentators.
I want to hear a knowledgeable woman's perspective and from someone who is not a political party loyalist.
Stan and Barry are knowledgeable fellas for sure but there are women who are every bit as qualified. Why aren't we hearing from them?
Thanks.
Energy policy is no longer complicated. A company in California called NanoSolar can make photovotaic cells at a fraction of the cost of tradition photo cells. They are financially supported by owners of Google and have a $400 million dollar plant that has an annual capacity of production of a Gigawatt.
NO solar power plants should be produced using the "old" technology as the new technology is SO much more cost efficient, equal to or cheaper than nuclear, coal, etc and is completely green.
I've never heard anyone on KJZZ, or any of my local representatives mention this new technology
