Listening With Pubcatcher

KJZZ is offering our own free podcasting program, Pubcatcher.

Why use Pubcatcher?

It comes pre-loaded with links to public radio programs from a variety of sources—including NPR®, the BBC, PRI, and more. Pubcatcher allows you to subscribe to your favorite public radio programs and keeps track of your subscriptions to make sure you always have the most recent audio.

Listening With iTunes

Open iTunes  (Be sure you have version 4.9 or higher).  If necessary, you can download this here:

If you do not see the KJZZ Podcast listed in the iTunes store and would still like to listen to the KJZZ Podcast, go through the following steps:
 
Click on the "Podcasts" icon in the left hand menu. 
 
Go to:
 
1) Advanced
 
2) then "Subscribe to Podcast"
 
3) Paste the following url into the text area:
 
http://kjzz.org/podcasts/news.xml
 
4) Then, when you see "KJZZ 91.5 FM - Arizona News" listed in your podcast directory,  "click the triangle on the left side of "KJZZ 91.5 FM News" to reveal the individual stories.
 
5) Click on the icon to "Get" the audio for the story/stories you would like to hear.
 
Once the title of the audio becomes bold, click on the title, and a speaker icon will appear on the left hand side of the story.
 
To Transfer this audio to an iPod:
 
1) Follow the directions above
 
2) Click "Get" for all the audio that you would like to hear.
 
3) Update your iPod.
 
4) On your iPod, go to the "Podcasts" folder. Then go to "KJZZ 91.5 FM - Arizona News"
 
5) Click "Play" if you would like to hear all of KJZZ's audio
 
6) or - navigate into the KJZZ directory, then navigate to the story you would like to hear.  Click "Play"
