The Heard Museum will be looking for a new director as the current director is headed to Tulsa.

James Pepper Henry is stepping down as Director and CEO at the Heard Museum. At the end of February, Henry will be heading back to his home in Oklahoma, where he is a member of the Kaw Nation and will be the new executive director of the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa.

Henry has been praised for his accomplishments in his year and a half with the Heard Museum. The board of trustees will meet on Jan. 22 to figure out a succession plan.
