It seems like we have been here before on a never-ending cycle of political posturing over shutting down the government unless the Affordable Care Act is stopped, overturned, kicked to the curb. But that is causing some disagreement among Republicans as many in the House want to tie raising the debt ceiling to defunding the Affordable Care Act, while some in the Senate are saying, 'What’s the point?’ as that Democratically-controlled body and the White House will not let it go through.

On Friday, the House voted to keep the government open through mid-December but only if Congress strips funding from the Affordable Care Act. Arizona’s District 6 Congressman David Schweikert gave a perspective on what should happen next. Congressman Schweikert voted in favor of the House action Friday.
