ADOT Aims To Hire Veterans

September 20, 2013

The Arizona Department of Transportation is the second state agency to become involved with the United States Army in a program aimed at hiring veterans as they leave the military. It’s called the PAYS program. ADOT’s Ryan Harding says the agency can be a good fit for vets.

“It’s a great place for these soldiers to come work because we provide a multitude of different job opportunities, including engineering, law enforcement, computer programming, communications,” Harding said.

The only other state agency involved in PAYS is the Department of Public Safety.
