Recruiting Enough Doctors To Treat New Patients In Arizona

August 30, 2013

One of those challenges in Arizona is finding enough doctors to treat all of the new patients. The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association said to fill in the gap for just primary care, the state would need more than 300 new docs. To help find them, the group is working with a recruiting firm called Cejka Search.

Vivian Luce is the company’s vice president of business development and handles Arizona. She said the new three year agreement is aimed at bringing in doctors and and executives to hospitals around the state that need them.

Luce said she will have a better idea in the next few months exactly how many docs she will be looking for, but regardless of what that number is she is confident she will fill the spots.
