Phoenix police had their eye on the suspect in the “Serial Street Shooter” case for months, court records show.

Per a judge’s order, prosecutors have released a document called a Form IV, which includes a five-page probable cause statement written by a detective.

A pair of tips put Aaron Saucedo on police radar in August 2016, and detectives first interviewed their suspect in December.

Investigators built their case against Saucedo, 23, through ballistics analysis, pawn shop records, witness statements and vehicles Saucedo drove.

Saucedo has been in jail since April for on suspicion of killing his mother’s boyfriend in 2015.

Police have accused Saucedo of more than two dozen additional felonies connected to the "Serial Street Shooter" probe, but he has not yet been formally charged.
