A suspect has pleaded not guilty to the 2015 killing of a Phoenix man in his own driveway. Aaron Juan Saucedo faces a charge of first-degree murder.

The victim was found with multiple gun shots and later died at a hospital.

Police say Saucedo’s handgun is linked to the shooting, and they say he sold the gun to a pawn shop a few weeks after the murder. Police were able to link the gun after tracking down its new owner and firing test rounds.

Saucedo was arrested soon after, late last month. His next court date is June 19.
