Almost 2 million people spent time at the ballparks in Arizona during Spring Training this year.

The Cactus League attendance figure makes 2017 a record breaking year.

In March, the Arizona Diamondbacks broke records for single-game attendance at Salt River Fields.

It was also the seventh straight year Salt River Fields has broken the 300,000 attendance mark -- making it the only Major League Baseball Spring Training complex to ever accomplish that.
