Companies Look To Beat Rideshare Services At Their Own Game

Traditional taxi services have been hit hard by competition from ridesharing companies like Uber and Lyft. That has led Valley-based Total Transit to evolve its business model. A new app gives riders the chance to choose whether they want to book a taxi, a rideshare vehicle or a rideshare van.

Other big cities have also seen their traditional taxi companies attempt to take on Uber and Lyft at their own game.
