ASU baseball team officially moving to a new home

Arizona State University and the City of Phoenix will make it official Tuesday. ASU’s baseball team will be moving from its long time home at Packard stadium to Phoenix Municipal stadium.

City officials said ASU has agreed to a 25 year lease, with the university agreeing to pay all operating and capitol expenses.

The Oakland A’s who currently hold spring training at Phoenix Muni are moving to Mesa.

ASU will begin playing their games at their new home with the start of the 2015 season.
