The city of Tempe has been known for its interesting arts-related offerings and that’s been expanding thanks to an increased emphasis via the city’s 2015 Arts and Culture plan.

"In looking around the country, Tempe is one of the hot spots and probably a best kept secret," said Ralph Remington, Tempe's new arts and culture deputy director. He has a lengthy resume in theatre and screenwriting, and joined KJZZ to talk about the city and how arts changed his life.
