ASU Lab Removes Learning Barriers For Students With Disabilities

University students with disabilities can face unique challenges during their educational careers, but the Alternative Format Lab at Arizona State University is trying to reduce at least one of them.

The lab takes hard-bound books that students buy for class and converts them into formats most conducive to that student’s needs. Chad Price is director of the Disability Resource Center. He spoke about how his job has changed as technology has evolved.
