Independent—or unaffiliated—voters continue to register at a growing rate in Arizona. They now make up 38 percent of the state’s registered voters.

On Thursday, the Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission in collaboration with Arizona State University's Morrison Institute for Public Policy released a report that asked questions about Arizona's independent voters.

Arizona Secretary of State Michele Reagan and Tom Collins, executive director of the Clean Elections Commission spoke about the topic.
