TUCSON — Tucson police say they have recovered several items linked to burglaries of churches and a synagogue reportedly committed by a mother and son.

Police said Wednesday that detectives searched a home in Santa Cruz County and found rosaries, cups and other items.

The home is linked to 29-year-old Andrew Hoke and 55-year-old Bridget Baker.

Both are currently being held in Pima County Jail on suspicion of trafficking in stolen property, third-degree burglary and criminal damage.

Police said the pair is accused of burglarizing several Catholic churches and a synagogue in March. Some of the stolen property included chalices that were hundreds of years old.

Authorities are in the process of returning all the items.
