Students attending Arizona State University’s newest campus will face a much smaller tuition bill than Sun Devils studying in Tempe.
The Arizona Board of Regents approved ASU’s proposed $6,000 tuition at its new Lake Havasu City campus. The new branch of the university will open in western Arizona this coming August.
The tuition in Lake Havasu is almost $4,000 less than freshmen at the Tempe campus will pay. In-state students there will owe a little over $9,700 in tuition and fees. But tuition at all current ASU campuses will remain flat; no increase from this school year to the next.
ASU’s Lake Havasu campus will offer degrees including Communication, Psychology, Life Sciences, and Environmental Science.
