What Aspects Of State Education Standards Need To Improve

During last fall’s campaign, Governor Doug Ducey said he was opposed to the Common Core education standards and wanted to eliminate it. But on Monday, he called on the state board of education to look for ways to improve Arizona’s standards rather than completely toss out Common Core.

We spoke with former state Superintendent of Public Instruction Lisa Graham Keegan and state Representative Paul Boyer about where the standards should go from here.
