Mothers Write
Over two weeks in May, KJZZ featured the work of three students from the 2003 spring session of MothersWrite.
The MothersWrite workshop is taught by freelance writer and editor Deborah Sussman Susser and and New Times staff writer Amy Silverman. Classes were recorded by Theo Smith. Instructors: Amy Silverman and Deborah Sussman Susser Amy Silverman is a staff writer at Phoenix New Times, whose work has also appeared in salon.com, Playboy and Fit Pregnancy. She lives in Tempe with her husband Ray and daughters Annabelle and Sophie, ages 2 and 2 months. Deborah Sussman Susser is a freelance writer and editor whose book reviews often appear in the Washington Post. She lives in Tempe with her husband Eric and daughter Anna, 5.
